Vehicle Deformation v1.0.0.0 LS25
The mod adds vehicle deformation during collisions to Farming Simulator 25. The body and individual parts crumple at the point of impact, while the damage strength depends on the intensity of the collision. When two supported vehicles collide, both may be damaged.
Works as a standalone mod:
there is no need to manually modify vehicle models or files.
The damage is visual—the physical shape of the collisions remains unchanged.
The result depends on the geometry and materials of the specific vehicle, so the deformation may look different on different vehicles.
Warnings in the log
When preparing the materials, yellow warnings reading i3d contains non-binary indexed triangle sets may appear in log.txt. They are related to storing auxiliary geometry directly inside the I3D. Based on the checks carried out, these warnings do not, by themselves, interfere with the mod or gameplay.
It has not yet been possible to remove them in another way while preserving functionality: the version using a separate .shapes file caused loading errors. Therefore, the working version with warnings has been left in place.
The mod is experimental and intended for single-player use.
THIS IS THE FIRST EXPERIMENTAL VERSION. I RELEASED IT TO FIND OUT WHETHER PLAYERS NEED IT AND WHETHER IT IS WORTH DEVELOPING FURTHER.
