How to install Landwirtschafts simulator 2025 Mods on PC or MAC

You have to drag and drop a mod file to your game directory on PC:

• XP/Windows 10: User\My Games\FarmingSimulator25\Mods
• <Vista: Documents\My Games\FarmingSimulator2025\Mods

Keep in mind that the German version game version called Landwirtschafts Simulator 2025 and it will be different folder name.

Windows 10 and later will open zip files, however, in the case of rar files, Winrar or a similar program is necessary. These programs can open zip files as well.

How can I install a FS25 Mod (zip file) in Mac OS X?

If the file zip, you do not need to extract the ZIP file, just move the zip file into this folder: 
/Library/Application Support/FarmingSimulator2025/mods

If you have App Store version (Farming Simulator25), you will have to copy the mod to the directory:
~/Library/Containers/com.focus-home.farming sim 2025/Data/Library/Application Support/FarmingSimulator2025/mods

A mod file will be one of the following two file types.

1. RAR – these are compressed files and the download is quicker. When you end the download, you have to remove the files from the rar files. You have to get zip files. For map downloading you can use RAR files and almost always you have to extract them to your data folder.
2. ZIP – this is a compressed file. When the files are zip, you have to extract them. If a zip file contains the mod you need, you have to copy and paste the zip file into the mods folder of the game.
