Maasland 4x is a Dutch fantasy based map and not heavily detailed. Since it would be a multiplayer map, I wanted it to be as clean as possible so that it always ran smoothly.
Reason for me to make this map: many maps have some good things and bad things, for example I like the Papenburg map, but the editor quit.
I love the American flatlands but the map has so many bugs, Juocta Map is nice but has way too many custom items which for me is a big turn off, then we have the more realistic maps but for me those don’t tick the boxes.
So as I always say to people who cry over other people/people’s cards, if you can do it better, do it yourself. So that’s what I did. At first it was just for my friends and I so we can play together.
But after Qesslygaming (streamer) asked me to watch the map on a live stream, it made me think twice. For now, I don’t plan on updating the map anytime soon unless there are major issues that need to be addressed.

– 138 famlands
– 132 fields (smallest 4.8ha biggest 89ha)
– 5 empty farm spots (coz most of us hate preplaced farms)
– Logging area
– Little town in the center
– Several sell and buy points
– Added dark tarmac texture from the AS map
– Added sidewalk texture from the EU map
– Animal trader (working like it should)
– 3 added crops: Millet/rye/hops
– Train system
– soccerfield if multiplayer farming gets boring
